As today, it is easier to visit museums in Sicily since it is possible to buy a museum pass to enter multiple venues within three days. The goal is to create cultural itineraries and eventually boost tourism.
The same €10 ticket includes the entry to Palazzo Abatellis, Oratorio dei Bianchi and Palazzo Mirto in Palermo. For €4, visitors in Giardini Naxos have access to the archeological site and Isolabella and for €6 they could visit the Florio Factory in Favignana, the Temple of Selinunte and Cave di Cusa in Campobello di Mazara. The initiative starts in Aidone where the museum is expecting a surge in visitors since the statue of Aphrodite is back.
